ColdChainCheck is a free compliance verification platform for pharmaceutical wholesale drug distributors, third-party logistics providers (3PLs), and cold chain logistics companies operating in the United States.

Why ColdChainCheck Exists

Pharmaceutical supply chain compliance is fragmented. Verifying a single distributor requires checking state pharmacy board databases, NABP accreditation registries, FDA registration systems, and DEA records — each maintained separately, with different interfaces, update schedules, and data formats.

ColdChainCheck consolidates these disparate data sources into a unified compliance profile for each distributor. QA managers, regulatory teams, specialty pharmacy operations, and compliance auditors can cross-reference a distributor's standing across every major regulatory body from a single page instead of navigating five or six separate government databases.

The platform is free, publicly accessible, and focused entirely on making pharmaceutical supply chain compliance data easier to find and verify.

Each distributor receives a compliance score from 0 to 100 based on six independently weighted components: state license coverage (25 pts), NABP accreditation (25 pts), FDA registration (20 pts), DSCSA reporting (10 pts), DEA registration (10 pts), and regulatory action history (10 pts).

Scores are calculated algorithmically from verified source data — no manual adjustments, no pay-to-play rankings, and no subjective assessments. The full scoring formula, component weights, and interpretation bands are documented on the methodology page.

Update Frequency

Compliance data is refreshed regularly from official sources. State license records, FDA registration data, and enforcement actions are updated on a rolling basis. NABP accreditation status is cross-referenced periodically. Because regulatory status can change between update cycles, always confirm current standing directly with the relevant agency for time-sensitive compliance decisions.
